Quick Snow Mountain Water Color

Note: Sorry about the blurr. My Scanner still doesn't like the thicker pound paper. It's unfortunate because I really wish it had captured the small layer of crisp paint on the mountains.

I've been watching a lot of painting videos lately, particularly Bob Ross and Bill Alexander. Oh how I wish I had oil painting materials, but even if I don't that's okay. Hopefully later i'll have enough money aside for the basic equipment. Anyway, I was still inspired to use some sort of paint and really just have fun. It's been a while since i've worked with traditional, couple months, so I might be a bit rusty.

This was just a nice quick test, I hope to try new attempts and perfect them. I'm missing a nice angular painting knife to really apply the nice frost on the mountains. It's really cool how the texture of the paper helped created a nice rough look when pulling the paint away from the tool. I've never been so used to the paper/canvas and brush emulating the textures of the environment.
